Höst, virus, förkylningar och inställda träningar. Ibland behöver man bara koppla bort verkligheten och sjunka ner i soffan framför en trevlig film eller serie. Filmer och serier med bågskyttetema finns det faktiskt massor av. Vi har med hjälp av vår långbågsskytt Jonas Hellsén lånat hans lista från IMDb med bågskytterelaterade filmer och tv-serier. Motivering: Denna extremt utskällda film tycker jag har fått utstå alldeles för mycket onödig kritik. Det har blivit trendigt att tycka illa om den. Men så dålig är den inte alls. Den är mycket snyggt filmad och att helt frångå den klassiska tidsåldern till en mer steam-punk-inspirerad version känns faktiskt nytt. Ge den en chans och se den utan några förprogrammerade förhoppningar om vad en Robin Hood-film måste vara. Detta är något annat. Inte klassiskt, men snyggt och framförallt underhållande.

Motivering: En relativt okänd uppstickare måste jag slänga in bland mina rekomendationer. Här snackar vi trickskytte. Kurvade pilar och omöjliga skott finns det gott om. Lite bågskyttevärldens “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”. Snygg och välgjord film som har fått alldeles för lite uppmärksamhet.

Motivering: Att göra en rekommendation till bågskyttar utan att välja denna är rent ut sagt bara fel. Många av oss skulle nog påstå att det är från den här filmen uttrycket “Att göra en Robin Hood” härstammar ifrån. (En del skulle dock hänvisa till äldre historier). Även om filmen är från 1938 så är den faktiskt hållbar även i moderna mått mätt. Du sugs in i handling relativt fort, och att den oftast släpps i restaurerat skick underlättar. Denna film SKA alla som gillar bågskytte någon gång ha sett.
